Job Description

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsible for the safe operation and sanitation of highspeed production equipment such as meat saw, band saw, CNC machine and cocktail ice machines/moldsMay assist in the production of large ice blocks use in the creation of cocktail iceMay assist in the production of Ice molds for special orders or special eventsMay assist in the production of Cocktail ice with the aid of machine or manual presses/moldsPackaging of ice products for deliveryMay be required to assist in setting up ice sculptures for eventsReport all accidents and injuries, regardless of severityCooperate and promote a team concept with all other company employeesAdhere to all rules and regulations, at all timesMeet or exceed company safety standardsPerform other tasks as assigned by managementAdhering to the Code of Business Ethics is essential. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY:

This position has no supervisory responsibilityEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:High School education or GEDAbility to read and interpret documents in English, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe mannerAbility to quickly store and recall instructions in one’s short term memoryAbility to concentrate and perform tasks involving high levels of cognitive function and judgmentAbility to cope with sudden changes in surrounding and/or emergency situations and/or alarmsDemonstrate a caring, committed and concerned attitude about safety

OPERATING RESPONSIBILITIES:

Occasionally shut down the line when defects are noted or safety violations observed.Must work in a safe and responsible manner to protect personnel and property

WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Continuous exposure to cold (freezer environment), heat, and noiseMust wear protective equipment while at the locationRequires walking, sitting, lifting, pushing, pulling and climbing to a significant degreeHeavy Work-Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds or force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objectsWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear, in order to communicate to employees as well as function safely around construction equipment
