**Job Description**
Complete tasks in facility manufacturing rubber lining for tanks and tankers. Oversee various production lines including Grinders, Mixers, Mills, Compounding, Calendars, and Hoists. Document any nonconformances and discarded parts. Follow appropriate mixing schedule and measurements. Utilize scan guns to track material in and out of the facility. Load silos with proper ingredients. Maintain a clean and safe work area at all times. Follow all applicable safety policies and procedures.
**Responsibilities**
+ Complete tasks in facility manufacturing rubber lining for tanks and tankers.
+ Oversee various production lines including Grinders, Mixers, Mills, Compounding, Calendars, and Hoists.
+ Document any nonconformances and discarded parts.
+ Follow appropriate mixing schedule and measurements.
+ Utilize scan guns to track material in and out of the facility.
+ Load silos with proper ingredients.
+ Maintain a clean and safe work area at all times.
+ Follow all applicable safety policies and procedures.
**Essential Skills**
+ Must be open to working 10-20 hours of overtime per week for the time being.
+ Must be able to work safely and follow all safety policies/procedures.
+ Must be able to train on day shift before moving to night shift.
+ Ability to lift 50+ lbs throughout the shift.
+ Ability to read measurements and perform basic calculations.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Previous mixing/compounding experience is a plus but not required.
+ Previous forklift experience is a plus but not required.
+ Previous ERP experience is a plus but not required.
+ Must be open to working overtime (currently can expect at least 10 hours of overtime a week).
**Why Work Here?**
Employees will be eligible for a pay increase after 3 months if they can prove mastery of 3 different jobs (B level), and they will be eligible for a pay increase to $26/hr after a year if they can do so for 6 jobs (A level). The company currently has 55% of the market. Popsicles, water stations, etc., are available, particularly for hotter days. It's a smaller company with a family-like feel. The company is huge on safety and takes pride in their safety record. There are opportunities for promotions and growth across all IKO companies (22 manufacturing facilities across North America). The company has a low turnover rate. There are monthly employee recognition programs and lunches for team members. All breaks are paid for during the shift. A full benefits package is provided upon hire, including vision, medical, dental, 401k, LTD, STD, and vacation.
**Work Environment**
The facility is smaller with about 30 team members across both shifts, and 5 on the night shift currently. It is a non-climate controlled facility, so it can get hot in the summer, but it is well-ventilated, helping it from getting overly hot. The work environment is laid back.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Seville, Ohio.
