2nd Shift

 

Job Summary:

The individual filling this role will report to the Lead Operator and Plant Manager.  Individuals will be expected to perform functions within Operations, including Warehouse and Maintenance. 

 

Responsibilities:

Carry out specific manufacturing instructions from batch sheets that include charging, heating, applying vacuum, sampling, washing, adjusting, and cooling or materials. Set up containers and packages products from reactors into drums, totes, and pails. Operates forklift to transfer raw materials and finished products. Loads and unloads bulk materials into tank trucks and storage tanks. Records data and other information on production batch sheets and forms.

 

Qualifications:

High School diploma, GED or equivalent.  Technical training is a plus. 2+ years of experience working in a chemical manufacturing, processing, or compounding operation environment. Experience using processing equipment including vacuum systems, pumps, valves, hoses, fittings, agitators, filters, compressed air, cooling systems, and scales is a plus. Ability to operate a forklift. A readiness and willingness to learn. Detail-oriented and organized. Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office.  Willingness to learn new systems. Good communication skills. Ability to work in teams cohesively. 

 

Working Conditions:

Requires use of appropriate PPE, Personal Protective Equipment, to fulfill safety requirements. Must be able to lift 55 pounds.
