Job Description
The Production Operator supports manufacturing operations by staging and moving materials around the site using forklifts, pallet jacks, or manual methods. Responsibilities include production floor support activities such as stocking materials, obtaining samples, changing filters, and labeling/packaging finished goods. The Operator also prepares tanks for production batches, performs compounding and transfer operations, and loads/unloads bulk materials. Housekeeping duties are also required. This role works under the direction and supervision of more experienced operations team members. The pay is $22.66 and there is a $2/hr. shift differential. This role will be 2nd Shift, 2:45-11:00 pm, M-F.

+ Operate a variety of equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks, to efficiently move materials throughout the production facility.

Qualifications
+ High School Diploma or GED equivalent, or 3+ years of relevant manufacturing experience.
+ Forklift experience is a plus.
+ Strong commitment to safety and quality.
+ Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
+ Mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn.
+ 1-2 years of chemical manufacturing experience preferred.
Additional Information
Physical Requirements:
+ Movement: May require the ability to stand/walk for up to 80% of your shift, with frequent pushing, pulling, bending, reaching, and squatting 50% of the time.
+ Lifting: May require the ability to lift up to 50 pounds 50% of your shift.
+ Environment: May require being comfortable working in an environment with varying temperatures.
