**Job Title: Cell Operator** **Job Description** Cell Operators will be stationed at their own designated cell and tasked with taking rubber products for the automotive industry through the production cycle. The process and steps are nearly identical regardless of which cell one is placed in. **Responsibilities** + Fill the molding tool with raw material by placing metal rings into slots. + Flip the tool onto the machine for molding and continue filling the next tool. + Remove the mold tool from the machine and use an air brush to cool the product down. + Flip the tool to knock off the rubber parts onto a table/work station. + Visually inspect the rubber parts for small defects, using a magnifying glass if necessary. + Dump inspected products into bins, weigh them, and track production progress. + Perform quality checks using the binder outlining exact quality defects. + Keep a shift log that includes operator information, maintenance, scrap tracking, production goals, machine temperature, and product quality/specifications. **Essential Skills** + Ability to lift 35 lbs 30 times per hour. + Ability to stand on feet for the full shift. + Ability to work safely and follow quality standards. + Ability to read and understand English. + Strong communication skills. + Enthusiasm about the opportunity. **Available Shifts & Pay** + 1st shift Monday-Friday (6am - 2pm) // **$20** + 2nd shift Monday-Friday (2pm-10pm or 3pm-11pm) // **$23** + 3rd shift Sunday-Thursday (10pm-6am or 11pm-7am // **$23** + _Training will be on 1st shift for the first 2 weeks._ **Work Environment** Operators work in a climate-controlled environment. **_The facility adheres to a strict no-smoking policy during work hours_** . Operators are provided with PPE, including gloves, safety glasses, and Kevlar sleeves. They can wear shorts and regular shoes, with no hearing protection required. No rings or jewelry are allowed, and long hair must be tied back. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Morristown, Indiana, around 15 minutes south of Greenfield. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr.
