Production Operator
Job Title: Production Operator

Job Description

The individual will be working in the foundry brake facility to ensure all specifications are met. The role involves working at the end of the machine to perform final inspections. Each brake disc will automatically go through the machine to be processed and drilled to spec, and it will then come down the line to the production operator for inspection. The operator will check for any flash, scratches, dents, or chips in the final product and perform spot checks with micrometers and calipers to ensure the accuracy of the machine's output. Once inspected and approved, the parts will be loaded for delivery, and a hilo driver will take away the filled and labeled boxes. Each production operator will be responsible for inspecting and loading 25-30 parts per hour. The role requires flexibility for 2nd and 3rd shifts as operators may be moved as needed.

ResponsibilitiesInspect brake discs for any flash, scratches, dents, or chips.Perform spot checks with micrometers and calipers on the final product.Ensure that machine output meets proper specifications.Load inspected and approved parts for delivery.Maintain a production rate of 25-30 parts per hour.Be flexible with shift assignments, including 2nd and 3rd shifts.Essential Skills2+ years of manufacturing experience in a production/machine operator role.Strong job tenure with no history of being fired from previous positions.Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.13 - $23.13/hr.
