**Job Title: Production Operator** **Job Description** Operators are responsible for a variety of product assembly, inspection, testing, operation of equipment/tools, and material/component processing tasks to meet production schedule requirements to the high-quality standard expected. Essential Functions: • Safely and efficiently meeting all production work requirements assigned to you by following operating procedures and work instructions. • Troubleshoot problems quickly and efficiently, seeking advice where necessary. • Produce the highest standard of quality products possible in accordance with the company’s ISO 9001:2015 procedures. • Visually inspect products throughout the stages of production to identify defective parts; component orientation errors, missing components, or wrong part insertion. • Conduct initial testing for product conformity. • Assist others to maintain an organized and clean workplace including all areas of the plant, workstations, equipment, walkways, and break rooms using 5S procedures. • Participate in and implement continuous improvement projects. • Perform other duties as assigned. **Hard Skills** + Product assembly + Inspection + Testing + Operation of equipment/tools + Material/component processing + Troubleshooting + ISO 9001:2015 procedures **Soft Skills** + Efficiency + Attention to detail + Team collaboration + Problem-solving **Job Type** This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 3 Month(s). **Work Site** This is a fully remote position. **Work Environment** Manufacturing environment. The role involves sitting and standing (raised desks available for standing). The team manufactures sensors for planes and satellites. Team size: 2 people in the department.
