**Job Title: Production Operator** **Job Description** Responsible for manufacturing quality production according to work order or build signal. General duties may include picking, packing, kitting, and assembling. Machine setup and equipment operation may be required. Prepare machines to start production cycle, performing calibration. Monitor and properly adjust machine settings. Maintain records and activity logs. **Responsibilities** + Manufacture quality production according to work order or build signal. + Perform general duties such as picking, packing, kitting, and assembling. + Set up machines and prepare them for the production cycle. + Calibrate machines and perform necessary adjustments. + Monitor machine settings and make proper adjustments. + Maintain accurate records and activity logs. **Essential Skills** + 6 months of production experience in a manufacturing environment. + 6 months of mechanical experience or equivalent. + Ability to frequently lift, carry, push, or pull 20 lbs. + Occasionally lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 lbs. + Possess manual dexterity and good coordination. + Basic reading, writing, and math skills. + Proven mechanical ability or aptitude. + Ability to resolve minor problems and recognize normal and unusual situations. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Possess working knowledge of manufacturing processes. + Ability to learn instrument or circuit board assembly, machine operations (including setup and changeover), and/or kitting. + Good oral and written communication skills. **Work Environment** While performing the duties of this job, you may be subjected to moving mechanical parts, electrical currents, vibrations, fumes, odors, dusts, gases, chemicals, oils, extreme temperatures, and workspace restrictions. The noise level in the work environment is occasionally loud. Employees will be required to wear the proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), which may include eye protection, hearing protection, steel-toe shoes, and gloves. Contact lenses are not allowed in production areas. Eye protection, hearing protection, and gloves are provided by the employer. You will typically work individually.
