**Position Title:** Production Operator
**1** **st** **Shift:** 5AM-5PM Monday-Thursday
**Pay Rate:** $19 Hourly

**Job Summary:**
This position involves operating, troubleshooting, and maintaining optical equipment, including diamond turning lathes and metrology devices, to ensure the production of high-quality products. The operator will perform routine maintenance, monitor equipment status, and assist with process adjustments to improve production. Safety, environmental compliance, and adherence to industry standards (FDA, OSHA, GMP, ISO) are key components of the role. **Key Responsibilities:**
+ **Operate and adjust production equipment** : Assist in running and adjusting various machines, ensuring smooth operation throughout the production cycle.
+ **Perform machine programming and setup** : Support the setup and programming of equipment to meet production requirements and specifications.
+ **Conduct quality inspections** : Inspect finished products for defects and ensure they meet quality standards throughout the production process.
+ **Monitor in-process production** : Track the status of ongoing production, making adjustments as needed to maintain efficiency and quality.
+ **Follow work order instructions, SOPs, visual aids, repair manuals, and engineering drawings** : Ensure compliance with established procedures and guidelines to accurately perform tasks and maintain production standards.
+ **Assist with equipment maintenance** : Perform routine maintenance, including cleaning, troubleshooting, and assisting with preventive maintenance to ensure equipment reliability.
+ **Follow clean room procedures and gowning protocols** : Adhere to strict clean room standards and wear appropriate protective gear to maintain a sterile and safe production environment.
+ **Perform other duties as assigned** .
+ High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
