**Job Title: Production Operator**
**Job Description**
This role is in the Elements department, which is the second to last stage of production. The position involves prepping material, trimming material, loading/unloading, and packaging (caging). The Production Operator will support the manufacturing of company products by completing production processes with direction and supervision. The goal is to assist a highly empowered, world-class team to deliver excellent safety, quality, delivery, and efficiency results and to contribute to the continuous improvement of production processes.
**Responsibilities**
+ Meet safety, quality, productivity, and efficiency standards.
+ Follow documented standard work instructions and procedures.
+ Set up and run processes and equipment.
+ Perform product inspection.
+ Collect data from processes and complete paperwork with production information.
+ Use a computer to collect required production data.
+ Support 5S in assigned production areas.
+ Read and understand information and ideas presented in writing.
+ Communicate information and ideas clearly.
+ Assist with production continuous improvement efforts.
+ Perform work as assigned by supervisor/lead.
+ Perform simple equipment maintenance.
+ Maintain work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition.
+ Assist with troubleshooting and resolving machine issues.
+ Perform other duties as assigned.
**Essential Skills**
+ 1st shift: 5am-1:30pm / Monday-Friday
+ 2nd shift: 1:30pm-10pm / Monday-Friday
**Essential Skills**
+ High School Diploma or G.E.D.
+ Good verbal and written communication skills in English.
+ Highly dependable with the ability to report on-time to start of company working shifts.
+ Attention to detail and accuracy.
+ Ability to work in a team environment.
+ Ability to lift 50 lbs (assisted, minimum 25/30 lbs individually).
+ Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
+ Ability to multi-task.
+ Must be available to work extended hours and occasional weekends when necessary.
+ Willingness to learn multiple responsibilities throughout the plant.
+ Physical dexterity.
+ Basic mathematical skills (add, subtract, multiply, and divide quickly and correctly).
+ Basic computer skills (Microsoft Excel, Word, and Email).
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Targeting 6 months+ of production experience
+ Candidates with retail, fast food, or hospitality experience are also considered.
+ Ability to work with small parts and be detail-oriented.

**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Oceanside, California.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $18.50 - $19.00
