**Job Title: Production Operator** **Job Description** + Manufacture quality production according to work orders or build signals + Perform picking, packing, kitting, and assembling duties + Prepare machines for production cycles, including performing calibration + Monitor and properly adjust machine settings + Maintain records and activity logs **Essential Skills** + 6 months of production experience in a manufacturing environment + 6 months of mechanical experience or equivalent + Ability to frequently lift, carry, push, or pull 20 lbs + Ability to occasionally lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 lbs **Why Work Here?** We offer opportunities for advancement, with many contractors who started at the bottom level now in management positions. The noise level in the work environment is occasionally loud. Employees are required to wear proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) including eye and hearing protection, steel toe shoes, and gloves. Contact lenses are not allowed in production areas. PPE is provided. The typical work schedule is Monday to Friday, 6:00 am to 2:30 pm. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Ames, Iowa. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
