This is a full-time position. **Job Title:** Production Operator 2nd Shift **Pay** : $20.22 per hour, plus $1 shift differential **Hours:** 4:00 PM- 12:00 AM **Essential Duties and Responsibilities:** + Following established production standards, performs all functions of the manufacturing process. + Inspect all equipment to ensure proper operation and safety. + Follow operational procedures and complete required paperwork. + Ensure sanitation, safety, GMP’s (Good Manufacturing Practices) quality control, cleaning and sanitation procedures are followed. + Ensure accurate counts and weights on production are recorded. + Report any non-compliant, defective, or sub-standard product immediately to Packaging Leader. + Assist with clean-up and sanitation responsibilities. + Assist in any other areas of the manufacturing plant when necessary. + Assist Production Leader in training new employees for job specific tasks in the production area. **Qualifications/Requirements:** + Must be able to read, interpret and understand written and oral directions in the English language. + Knowledge of proper use of equipment, materials and supplies. + Must demonstrate basic math skills to calculate production yields and understand weights and measures. + Must be able to work flexible hours and weekends.
