Production Operator
**Job Title: Production Operator** **Job Description** We are looking for a dedicated Production Operator to join our team. The primary responsibility will be working with the grinder, which involves physical labor and requires the ability to lift up to 80lbs. This role is essential in the production of rubber hoses. This is a 1-2 month contract position with the opportunity for growth and potential for permanent hire. **Responsibilities** + Operate the grinder and other machinery as required. + Lift and handle heavy materials weighing between 50-80lbs. + Work in various departments on the manufacturing floor. + Use hand tools and calipers for measuring and production tasks. + Ensure accurate measurements and quality control. + Maintain a clean and organized work area. + Adhere to safety protocols and wear necessary protective equipment. **Essential Skills** + 6+ months of production experience. + Experience with general labor and heavy lifting. + Proficiency with hand tools, calipers, and tape measures. + Mechanical aptitude and ability to operate machinery. + Ability to lift 50+lbs consistently. + Reliability and strong attention to detail. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience in fast food or cooking roles is considered. + Ability to work weekends. + Flexibility and physical stamina to be on feet all day and perform repetitive lifting tasks. **Why Work Here?** This position offers a contract-to-hire opportunity with potential for growth within the company.
