**Job Title: Production Operator** **Job Description** We are seeking a dedicated Production Operator to join our team. This role involves general loading and unloading, assisting machine operators, and sorting parts into crates. The parts are small and lightweight, but filled crates may be heavy. **Responsibilities** + Load and unload parts efficiently. + Assist machine operators as needed. + Sort parts into crates and ensure they are properly organized. + Operate forklifts and other machinery safely. + Perform assembly tasks and general labor as required. + Inspect parts and packaging for quality assurance. + Use hand tools and follow blueprints accurately. **Essential Skills** + Experience in production or machine operation. + Ability to perform assembly and general labor tasks. + Proficiency in operating forklifts. + Knowledge of packaging and inspection processes. + Skill in using hand tools and reading blueprints. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience as a machine operator or laborer. + Ability to pick and pack items efficiently. **Why Work Here?** We offer opportunities for overtime, allowing you to make extra income. There is a pay increase to $17.77 per hour once you become a full-time employee, plus a $0.75 shift differential. **Work Environment** This role requires flexibility in scheduling, as overtime is common, and you may be asked to come in early or stay late. You will be working in a setting that requires steel-toed boots and safety glasses. Shift schedules are as follows: 1st shift from 7:00 AM to 3:15 PM at $15.50 per hour, 2nd shift from 3:00 PM to 11:15 PM at $16.25 per hour, and 3rd shift from 11:00 PM to 7:15 AM at $16.25 per hour. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Richmond, Kentucky. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $15.50 - $16.25/hr.
