Position Details:

Twelve hour shifts on a rotating schedule, days and nights. Including weekends and holidays.

Hourly wage: $16.95

 

What You’ll Be Doing:

The position of Operator I may include one or more of the following duties including: Material Handler, Warehouse, and/or Bulk Systems. 

Attention to safe operation and demonstration of safe work habits and behaviors. This includes the use of appropriate personal protective equipment. Observe all safety and food safety guidelines and adhere to all company rules and policies, and good manufacturing practices. General housekeeping responsibilities. Attention to product specifications and proper product handling. Equipment and tank inspection in accordance with safety and operating procedures. Employee must successfully complete Bunge’s forklift training and certification in order to operate the forklift as part of job duties. Commitment to supply safe food, maintain a food safety culture within the site, continually improve the site's food safety management system; and comply with customer and regulatory requirements. Additional duties as requested or assigned. 

 Material Handler Key Duties:

Ensure printing on bags is accurate and correct bags are being used by baggers. Ensure accurate record keeping is maintained. Responsible for forklift general operations including fluid check and fueling.

    

Warehouse Key Duties:

Load/unload shipments. Fill product orders. Record keeping of warehouse inventory. General forklift operations including fluid check and fueling.

 

Bulk Systems Key Duties:

Responsible for directing of product into silos. Monitor and adjust flour flow when filling tanks. Record keeping of lot numbers and silo inventory. Record keeping of inbound and outbound weights. Record truck scale, weights, and scale tickets. Responsible for tank placement for truck pick-up. Record keeping of tank seals and documentation.

               

Minimum Qualifications:

1 year of relevant work experience including forklift and warehouse experience preferred. Must be able to proficiently read and write in English for the purposes of record keeping and safety training and processes. Must have basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division. Understand various units of measure (US Currency, imperial weights and measurements, metric weights and measurements), common fractions, and decimal usage.  Ability to work in a safety conscious environment.
