**Door Shop-Production Worker**
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking individual to join our team as a Door Shop-Production Worker. This role involves working in our door shop where you will be responsible for lifting and handling doors, as well as operating machinery and power tools. This position offers room for growth, allowing employees to advance their skills and responsibilities over time.
**Responsibilities**
+ Analyze and resolve work problems
+ Work with a team to create and build products
+ Palletize and prepare finished orders for shipment
+ Work to maintain a safe and clean work environment
+ Enact company policies and abide by safety regulations
+ Read and understand orders as received
+ Assemble pre-fabricated doors to meet work order specifications
+ Review all finished goods to ensure accuracy and quality of construction
+ Use power tools such as mills, saws, and joiners
+ Use pneumatic tools such as nail guns
**Essential Skills**
+ High School diploma or general education degree (GED)
+ Ability to regularly lift/move/manipulate up to 60 pounds and occasionally lift/move/manipulate up to 100 pounds
+ Ability to read, write, and communicate in English as it relates to the job and to safety regulations
+ Ability to perform all job functions safely
+ Excellent attention to detail
+ Ability to read a tape measurer accurately and consistently to 1/16”
+ Ability to read and interpret verbal instructions, diagrams, and documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
+ Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measurement, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
+ Strong problem-solving skills

**Work Environment**
The work environment can be a bit noisy in the door shop, but it is clean.
The position requires wearing steel-toed boots and working Monday through Friday from 7am to 3:30pm. Overtime is not available for temporary employees, but once direct, there will be approximately 5 hours of overtime per week.
The role involves heavy usage of power tools like impact hammers and occasional usage of saws.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.

**Workplace Type**
