Job Title: Production Operator
Job Description

We are seeking dedicated Production Operators who are open to training on any shift. This role involves operating various machines and handling products within our high-quality printing ink manufacturing facility.

ResponsibilitiesOperate machines and pour products into large tubs.Run batches of ink at proper mill settings.Package finished products in various containers and apply labels.Clean and maintain machines to TPM standards.Learn and apply TPM knowledge to daily activities.Weigh-Up Batches: Shift auto and manual steps, follow process order of addition.Mix Batch: Discharge pigment and operate mixer safely; follow and adhere to all INX Mixer SOPs.Hockmeyer mill operation: Run and maintain optimum OEE standards.Create and maintain a database of all existing formulas including processing times.Operate the following: Press out unit, pump filter equipment, and forklift.Act as a QC liaison, providing ink samples, making ink adjustments, and recording data.Complete scheduled maintenance and troubleshooting procedures.Assist with repacks.Essential Skills6+ months of production experience.3+ months of operating experience.Mechanical aptitude.Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.Willingness to learn.Attention to detail.Additional Skills & QualificationsForklift experience (training available).Experience in mixing, batch mixing, and pump filter industry background.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

The position is within a manufacturing facility that produces ink. You will be provided with a uniform to prevent your own clothes from getting ink-stained. A locker room and all necessary accommodations are available. Shift times are as follows: 1st shift (7am-3:30pm), 2nd shift (3pm-11:30pm), and 3rd shift (11pm-7:30am). Once converted to a direct employee, you will receive a shift differential: +$1.00/HR for 2nd shift and +$1.50/HR for 3rd shift.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Edwardsville, Kansas.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
