They will start off as a machine assistant, standing at the end of a machine collecting cardboard. It is a very fast-paced environment, with some machines producing 400 boxes per minute. The role involves constant movement and lifting, including inspecting boxes by following a tape measure. During slow periods, they need to stay motivated and find tasks to do, such as sweeping. Additionally, they will work in the baler room, picking up excess materials and putting them in the baler room. **Responsibilities** + Operate and assist with machines on the production floor + Collect and inspect cardboard boxes + Maintain a fast pace to keep up with machine output + Stay productive during slow periods by finding other tasks + Work in the baler room to manage excess materials **Essential Skills** + 1+ year of production or manufacturing experience + Ability to lift 50lbs regularly + Proficiency in reading a tape measure to the 1/8 of an inch **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience running gluer machines **Why Work Here?** Once hired in, candidates are eligible for a $1-$2 raise, offering great opportunities for growth and increased compensation. **Work Environment** The facility is not climate controlled but is relatively clean.
