Job Responsibilities:

Job summary

Works on precision assembly or sub-assemblies of small or medium sized units involving a number of parts or erection of larger units having a limited number of parts and fairly liberal tolerances.  Places and removes parts into or onto various production machines.  Performs assembly, fastening or other material modification operations on assembly line.  Fits and adjusts products to meet operating requirements.  Modifies parts using simple hand and power tools.  Reads simple blue prints.

Essential Functions

Ensure a quality product (measuring tools, part inspection and fixtures) and know the quality procedures to ensure we produce a high-quality part consistently Perform basic troubleshooting and setup (understand job recipes, how to root-cause and correct basic concerns)Assure finished product is stored properly and dispositioned accurately to protect the customer and the shipping scheduleMaintain integrity of quality to ensure finished product meets Kamtek customer standards

Additional Skills

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. 

Physical Demands

•           100% Standing, Walking, and Lifting

•           Physically fit and able to lift 25 - 40 pounds                                                

•           Must be able to stand 8+ hours a day.

•           Work near moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, and vibrations. 

•           Loud Noises.

•           Automated equipment

Work experience

6-23 months previous experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
