The Production Operator will ensure the production of high quality residential roofing materials through accuracy, timeliness, and efficiency of manufacturing processes to include machine operation, quality verification, packaging, housekeeping, and forklift operation. **Essential Duties** + Responsible for safe operation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of manufacturing equipment and forklifts, and production and/or shipment of quality products. + Record and document all required data on the computer and/or in written form + Follow all safety, operational, maintenance, and housekeeping policies and procedures for the plant and your assigned department. + Complete product testing and inspections in accordance with product and quality specifications and alert supervisor to variations in the production process at all times. + Perform other duties related to plant operations as assigned. **Qualifications Required** + H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) or equivalent Required + Minimum of 6 months required in a manufacturing/industrial environment; Required + 1-2 years Preferred + Stand for long periods of time + Climb ladders and stairs and use catwalks + Bend at the knees and waist + Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 lbs. and occasionally lift and/or move 50 lbs.
