Production Supervisor
Your role and responsibilitiesAdhere to all safety requirements and company policiesPrepare copper bus and steel components for powder coating process and electroplating processes. Operate automatic and manual coating equipment.Reads blueprints or similar documentation, then produces to those specifications.Uses various hand tools to accomplish assigned tasks.Maintains logs, records, and reports concerning production, machine maintenance, and product inconsistencies.Maintains equipment and conveyors and performs basic repairs when needed.Inventories tools, parts, and supplies.Periodically checks products per company policy to ensure quality and uniform completion; resolves any identified problems and alerts supervisor.Performs other related duties as assigned.Conducts all types of assembly work to produce semi-finished or final products/systems/panels, including the packing where integrated with production lines.Performs work manually or by using light hand tools.Performs regular quality testing as part of a defined production process.Operates within standard operating procedures and maintains a clean work area.
Qualifications for the roleHigh school diploma or equivalent requiredKnowledge and use of tools – tape measure, calipers, grinders, or other hand tools.Knowledge of 5S – sort, set, shine, standardize, and sustainKnowledge and use of necessary PPEAbility to use crane or other lifting devices, as neededAbility to safely use a ladder while performing the job, as neededAbility to lift, push and pull up to 40lbsAbility to speak, read, and write the English LanguageAbility to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple or basic instructionsBasic computer skills to be able to look up parts.Basic mathematical skillsBasic communication skillsHand, eye coordination skills and use of both hands
