Production Operators
**Job Title: Production Operators** **Job Description** We are seeking dedicated and skilled Production Operators to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in machine operation and production within a manufacturing or industrial setting. You will be responsible for operating, maintaining, and ensuring the cleanliness of the production line, as well as performing changeovers and adhering to safety protocols. **Responsibilities** + Start up and shut down procedures for the assigned production line area. + Perform duties and procedures as an operator in the assigned production line area effectively, safely, efficiently, and as instructed. + Complete reports and answer inquiries as requested or assigned. + Maintain cleanliness of the assigned production line area. + Multitask with changing priorities and deadlines as directed by the Supervisor. + Effectively use industrial equipment and machinery, hand, pneumatic, and/or electric tools, and other industrial tooling. + Perform changeovers quickly, efficiently, and safely. + Assist with scrap breakdown as directed. + Comply with all company policies and procedures. + Perform other duties as assigned or directed by the Supervisor. **Essential Skills** + High school diploma or equivalent (GED). + Two years prior machine or production operator experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting, or similar. + Strong mathematic skills, ability to accurately use a tape measure, and proficiency in the metric measurement system. + High level of attention to detail. + Ability to work up to 12 hours per day, and weekends, as necessary. + Ability to sit and stand for extended periods, walk, climb, bend, lift, grasp, pinch, reach, twist, lean, lift, push, pull, and other physical movements necessary to perform duties assigned. + Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled environment with extreme temperatures, noise, dust, and other conditions typical of a manufacturing plant environment. + Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. + Effective verbal communication skills in English. Some stations require the ability to write or type effectively in English. + Basic proficiency in MS Excel and effective use of a computer. + Proficiency in using tools, equipment, machinery, etc. + Reliability and dependability, with the ability to report to company locations for assigned shifts. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Prior forklift experience is a plus. **Why Work Here?** Join our team and work in a dynamic and supportive environment that values your contributions. You will need to perform physical activities such as sitting, standing, walking, climbing, bending, lifting, and more. The position may require working up to 12 hours per day, including weekends, as necessary. Dress code includes appropriate safety gear and attire suitable for a manufacturing environment. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $21.56 - $25.18/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
