Overview ***This position is physically located in the Marshall Islands in support of LOGCAP*** Under supervision of the Operations Manager (PWD), the Production/Planning Control Manager oversees, directs, and manages daily operations of the Production Control and Work Orders Sections. Serves as the centralized customer service focal point. Processes all work requests, to include after-hours calls, dispatches craftsmen to emergencies, and writes Corrective Maintenance (CM) work orders. Processes all work requests within 24 hours after receipt to ensure a high level of customer service. #LI-TM1 #clearance Responsibilities This position description is subject to change at any time as needed to meet the requirements of the program or company. Oversees, directs, and manages daily operations of the Production Control and Work Order Sections. Serves as the centralized customer service focal point. Processes all work requests, to include after-hours calls, dispatches craftsmen to emergencies, and writes Corrective Maintenance (CM)work orders. Classifies work using the most current Government work classification system. Ensures Preventive Maintenance (PM) work orders are generated and distributed to the sections on a scheduled basis. Processes all work requests within 24 hours after receipt to ensure a high level of customer service. Uses a government provided CMMS (Maximo and/or GFEBS) to update work order information Performs other job duties as assigned Qualifications Minimum Qualifications: Education/Certifications: One-year related experience may be substituted for one year of education, if degree is required. Associate degree or equivalent required. Must provide a copy of the diploma or college transcript. Must be able to obtain a CAC. Must possess a valid US driver’s license and be able to obtain an USG driver’s license. Capable of effectively communicating technical information in English, both written and verbally. Must be a U.S. Citizen Experience: A solid background in automated data systems required. Minimum of five (5) years of experience in Production Control. Skills: Collaborative work style fostering cooperation and teamwork. Prioritize responsibilities to handle a demanding workload Ability to work under pressure Working Conditions: Must be capable of working in various weather conditions with temperatures (i.e., humidity, rainy/wet season, warm/hot, sunny). Physical Requirements: Light work. Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects. If the use of arm and/or leg controls requires exertion of forces greater than that for sedentary work and the worker sits most of the time, the job is rated for light work Work may require heavy lifting, stooping, climbing, prolonged standing, prolonged sitting, and working with or in areas where a potential could exist for exposure to physical, chemical, or biological agents.
