Production Planner
Job Title: Production Planner

Job Description

Develop and implement detailed production schedules to meet customer demands and optimize resource utilization. Work closely with customers to understand their requirements, manage expectations, and ensure timely delivery of products. Utilize customer portals to track order status, address any issues, and communicate updates effectively. Ensure production schedules account for thorough quality checks and compliance with industry standards. Collaborate with various departments, including operations, procurement, engineering, and quality, to ensure smooth and efficient production flow. Track and analyze production metrics using ERP systems to identify areas for improvement. Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce lead times, and meet delivery deadlines. Provide regular updates to customers on production schedules, changes, and potential challenges. Analyze customer demand patterns and work with sales teams to forecast future demand accurately.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Clifton, New Jersey.

Work Environment

There are currently 205 employees with 140 unionized. This person will split their time between the office and the manufacturing floor. This role is onsite 5 days a week. Office hours are 7-4. Room for flexibility/accommodation if absolutely needed & at manager’s discretion.
