JOB SUMMARY

 

 

This position is primarily responsible for assisting in the development of production schedules, input and control of in-process inventory to meet customer requirements and for the development and communication of customer committed delivery dates whenever customer requirement dates cannot be met.

DUTIES/RESPONSABILITIES

 

 

DEVELOPMENT OF PRODUCTION SCHEDULES                                                                     

Ensures that production schedules, input and control of in-process inventory meets customer requirements and committed delivery dates. 

TYPICAL TASKS

Analyzes customer requirements and developed commitments. (Enters into HLV order entry system) Develops valid production schedules and develops ship schedules. Manages inventory movement activities. Participates in sales forecasting/planning process. Coordinates production planning activities with Team Leaders. Ensures inter-departmental communications. Is responsible for Perpetual vs. Physical inventory comparison.
