Production Planner
Job Description Insight Global is seeking a talented Production Planner to join a large chemical manufacturing client here in Houston. This role involves joining a team of 10 and reporting directly to the Supply Chain Manager. The position offers a hybrid work schedule, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The Production Planner will be responsible for managing and maintaining the SAP systems production planning module, ensuring accurate forecasting, up-to-date production data, and thorough documentation. Key responsibilities include implementing inventory control practices to maintain the right balance between stock levels and sales demand, and developing and updating production plans using the SAP system to enhance efficiency and accuracy. This person will be the production planner for 3 divisions that produce: MX Adhesive, Biodegradable plastics, and Q10. This person will be responsible for communicating effectively with different teams such as, sales, supply chain, customer service, material planner for the respective plant, and production staff. This is a full-time role offering flexible pay and benefits.
