Job Description

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

The Production Planning Analyst will play a crucial role in optimizing our production processes and ensuring the efficient flow of materials and resources. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in production planning, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to analyze and interpret data to drive decision-making. This role requires a proactive individual who is eager to contribute to our team’s success and develop their skills further in a fast-paced industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Production Scheduling: Develop and maintain production schedules to ensure timely and efficient manufacturing processes. Coordinate with various departments to align production plans with demand forecasts and inventory levels.

Data Analysis: Analyze production data and key performance indicators to identify trends, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement. Provide actionable insights and recommendations to enhance productivity and reduce costs.

Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels and work closely with the procurement team to ensure optimal stock levels of raw materials and components. Assist in managing inventory turnover and minimizing excess stock.

Process Improvement: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements and best practices. Identify bottlenecks and propose solutions to streamline operations.

Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on production performance, inventory status, and other relevant metrics. Highlight key findings and areas for action to management.

Problem-Solving: Address and resolve production-related issues as they arise, working to minimize disruptions and maintain operational efficiency.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in production planning or a related field, with a proven ability to manage production schedules and analyze data effectively.

Languages: English written and spoken is mandatory

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.

Skills:

Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools.

Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.

Proficiency in production planning software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Excel Intermediate

Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with stakeholders.

Knowledge in MRP`s preferably Oracle. 

Sense of urgency is required.

Possesses solid mathematical aptitude, attention to detail and logical problem solving skills.

Skilled in working independently in a safe and timely manner necessary, focussed on the business necessities.

Service attitude focused on our internal and external customers.

Adaptive, flexible, able to handle ambiguity and Tolerance to the frustration..

Understanding of the fundamental concepts, practices and procedures of Supply Chain, Materials Management, and Logistics and all related focus areas.

Partnering skills.

Essential communication, interpersonal skills to work with all levels.
