Production Planner

At our Performance Chemical Division we create the products that enable plastic applications in Building and Construction, Automotive, Packaging, Agriculture, Fiber and other industries. In this role you will be a key component for the Supply Chain team by supporting the production planning process being responsible for defining the detailed production plan for the site. On daily bases, you will monitor adherence to the production plan with operations and site logistics, identify gaps in the deliveries and production volumes and align within production,regional planning, and product management. **As a Production Planner, you create chemistry by...** + Defining and aligning long term production plan with regional planners in SiteOps. + Identifying, escalating and communicating extra closely with different functions in case of bigger impacts or conflicts inproduction, e.g. shutdowns, production trials, among others. + Coordinating packed goods availability and planning with materials managers as well as coordinate logistic topics withproduction logistics and 3rd party providers for outsourced logistics. + Creating purchase requisitions for raw materials, monitoring their availability and adherence to production plan withoperations and site logistics, coordinating packaging and creating intercompany orders as well as performing Masterdata updates (also for packaging regulations). + Acting as “troubleshooter” for problems with products assigned to the production planner and being the contact personfor interface to Warehouse logistics providers, including responsibility for SAP WM topics and processes. + Handling RACE requests for raw materials and create SAP Analyses in the context of production planning. **If you...** + Having an Associate's degree or higher. + Having knowledge of production processes and planning processes + Being an expert on SAP APO PPDS + Knowledge of SAP WM and APO (other than PPDS), P2P, OTC **Create your own chemistry with you@BASF** At BASF, you will have the chance to do meaningful work towards building a more sustainable future.
