Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Production Planner to join our team in Shanghai, China. As a key member of our manufacturing operations, you will be responsible for optimizing production schedules, managing inventory levels, and ensuring efficient resource allocation to meet customer demands.

Develop and maintain production schedules using advanced planning software and techniquesAnalyze production data and market trends to forecast future demand and adjust plans accordinglyCollaborate with supply chain, procurement, and manufacturing teams to ensure smooth production flowMonitor inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers to maintain optimal stockIdentify and implement process improvements to enhance production efficiency and reduce costsPrepare and present regular reports on production performance and key metricsEnsure compliance with Chinese manufacturing regulations and quality standardsParticipate in cross-functional meetings to align production plans with overall business objectivesTroubleshoot and resolve production-related issues in a timely manner

QualificationsBachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Data Analytic.5-10years of experience in production planning or a related role within the manufacturing industryProficiency in production planning software, ERP systems, and MRPAdvanced Microsoft Excel skills, including data analysis and forecasting techniquesStrong understanding of supply chain management principles and lean manufacturing conceptsKnowledge of Chinese manufacturing regulations and standardsExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detailStrong organizational abilities and capacity to manage multiple priorities efficientlyEffective communication skills in both English and Mandarin ChineseAbility to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environmentExperience with continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, Kaizen) is a plus
