Basic Job Functions:

The role of the Production Planner includes but is not limited to:
•    Collaborating with the Planning, Sales, Maintenance, and Operations teams to develop the Sales & Operations Plan, which encompasses production, shipment, and inventory targets 
•    Executing the Sales & Operations Plan by creating daily production schedules that optimize customer service and operating efficiency
•    Coordinating with Operations to ensure that production constraints are factored into the daily schedules
•    Operating as a liaison between the Operations, Sales, and Planning teams to resolve scheduling challenges 
•    Analyzing inventory levels to determine optimal product mix to maximize shipments and maintain inventory design
•    Providing accurate estimated completion dates to Sales in order to update customers on their order’s status

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years’ experience Effective analytical and problem-solving skills Experience using Excel and other Microsoft products Preferred Qualifications: Production scheduling experience or experience in manufacturing, metals preferred Familiar with CSP processing of product
