**Job Title: Production Planner**
**Job Description**
As a Production Planner, you will play a crucial role in maintaining an organized and efficient production environment. You will be responsible for managing material movements, ensuring accurate inventory counts, and coordinating with various departments to ensure smooth production flow. Your attention to detail and ability to handle internal issues will be essential in maintaining the integrity of our production processes.
**Responsibilities**
+ Maintain a clean and orderly work environment (7S).
+ Transport material between buildings as needed.
+ Deliver picked material to the floor.
+ Fill material shortages on the floor.
+ Replenish Kanban material.
+ Receive and move finished product to the warehouse.
+ Enter material demand for RMA refurbs to the jobs.
+ Process red tags for damaged and non-conforming material.
+ Perform material transactions in IFS for material movements.
+ Understand and interpret part availability in MRP.
+ Assist planners with part discrepancies.
+ Perform floor cycle counts as needed.
+ Assist in inventory and procedural audits when necessary.
+ Coordinate flow of material with warehouse, inspection, and production.
+ Open and manage rework jobs.
+ Process customer repairs by opening the RMA, CO, and SO as needed.
+ Take action on MRB dispositions.
+ Take action on ECO deliverables.
+ Review material shortages and expedite material through the process.
**Essential Skills**
+ 3-5 years of experience in production planning or a related field.
+ Proficiency in handling internal issues that arise.
+ Experience in creating work orders.
+ Knowledge of cycle counts and audits.
+ Experience in reconciliations and coordinating duties for Material Expeditors.
+ Expertise in material handling, inventory management, and production scheduling.
+ Familiarity with ERP and MRP systems.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Experience with ERP systems.
+ Strong understanding of production scheduling and inventory management.
+ Ability to perform audits and reconciliations.

**Work Environment**
This role operates in a manufacturing environment with a casual dress code. Working hours are from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM on the first shift.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of rancho bernardo, California.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
