Production Planner

Our client is seeking a Production Planner to join their team. As a Production Planner, you will be part of the Supply Chain department supporting the production team. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, effective communication abilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving which will align successfully in the organization.
This is a contracted position that would last 6 to 9 months.
**Job Title:** Production Planner
**Location:** Hanover, PA
**Pay Range:** $25-30/hour
**What's the Job?**
+ Coordinate daily activities of the production planning departments through production orders and schedules.
+ Create and maintain a master production schedule that fulfills customer demands and optimizes inventory levels.
+ Perform effective material requirement planning and management to ensure a controlled flow of materials.
+ Communicate daily production schedules to the production team and manage any scheduling changes.
+ Resolve issues related to demand, capacity constraints, and material availability to maximize production efficiency.
**What's Needed?**
+ Associate Degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, or a related field; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
+ 1+ years of experience in planning and procurement, with MRP experience required.
+ SAP experience
+ Formal Lean and/or Six Sigma training nice to have
+ Strong analytical skills and proficiency in tools such as MS Excel and Access.
