Production Planner
Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Production Planner in Azusa, California. This role is instrumental in ensuring the seamless flow of production operations from the point of sale to the final delivery. As a Production Planner, you will be the linchpin between our production teams and customers, orchestrating schedules and managing resources to achieve production objectives in the manufacturing sector. Responsibilities • Act as the main point of contact between customers and production teams to maintain clear communication and ensure customer satisfaction. • Manage the allocation of resources, including materials and personnel, to achieve production targets effectively. • Coordinate production schedules to guarantee projects are completed in a timely manner. • Provide administrative support through tasks such as client invoicing, email responses, and vendor communication. • Utilize Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) tools such as Epicor and Made2Manage to streamline production planning and inventory forecasting. • Handle accounting functions and oversee accounts payable (AP). • Engage in purchasing planning and buying processes to support production goals. • Carry out analysis planning to optimize production and inventory planning. • Conduct annual physical inventory and asset inventory management. Requirements • Minimum of 4 years of experience in a Production Planner role or similar • Proficiency in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software, preferably Epicor • Familiarity with ERP Solutions and their efficient application in production planning • Understanding of Accounting Functions and Accounts Payable (AP) • Knowledge of Buying Processes and their integration in production planning • Exceptional Communication skills, both written and verbal • Experience with Made2Manage software is a plus • Ability to perform Analysis Planning in line with company objectives • Experience in Inventory Planning and Material Planning • Proven track record of effective Product Planning and Production Planning • Experience in Purchasing Planning and its application in overall production strategy • Familiarity with Annual Physical Inventory procedures • Experience in Asset Inventory management • Proficiency in Inventory Forecasting, with a focus on minimizing waste and optimizing resources Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
