Job Description:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Production Planner. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment and will be responsible for managing the planning and scheduling of materials to ensure timely delivery of products.

Responsibilities:Develop production plans considering various factors like demand, capacity, and inventory.Collaborate with different teams to ensure timely completion of tasks and handle rescheduling as needed.Address and coordinate changes in product specifications and inventory adjustments.Review and establish purchasing requirements and communicate them to relevant parties.Manage the release and rescheduling of tasks, ensuring material availability.Process rework orders and verify capacity before scheduling.Coordinate external activities to ensure timely completion.Commit to delivery dates based on schedules and material availability.Create and maintain regular reports on shipping and backlog.Maintain and update the item master database with relevant data.Lead efforts to minimize inventory levels.

Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.3-5 years of experience in a planner role within a manufacturing environment.Proficiency in MRP/ERP systems Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and negotiation skills.Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and practices.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $39.00 - $42.00
