Production Planner & SchedulerCompensation and Benefits

Production Planner & Scheduler Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED Understanding of MRP/ERP Systems High level of Microsoft Office Suite Skills (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams, etc.) Able to pass a drug test and background check

Experience – 3 to 5 years of production planning experience  

Please apply if you have worked as Production Planner, Production Scheduler, Plant Manager, Manufacturing environments, etc.

Production Planner & Scheduler Responsibilities

Collaborate with the Manager to plan and coordinate production schedules. Review production specifications and identify and report plant capacity constraints. Gather, sort, organize, and record data, information, and documents for work planning. Resolve manpower and material shortage issues promptly. Develop weekly Recon production status reports for the Manager. Monitor workflow and schedules to ensure timely delivery. Ensure materials and equipment are prearranged for production needs. Work with the Manager to develop and execute the production plan. Maintain outside process spreadsheets in Excel format. Collaborate with Managers to develop potential solutions for improving production performance. Develop an effective scheduling process to achieve production objectives. Analyze and address production issues in a timely manner. Produce information by inputting, formatting, copying, and transmitting data from the core computer system (Epicor) through Excel and Word files. Expedite jobs on the production floor. Reconcile and close jobs through the core computer system
