Made Possible.** **Production Planner/Scheduler I - Schedules the productive equipment at the facility. Must effectively utilize all plant resources and equipment to insure high productivity and low scrap rates while meeting all customer availability dates as required. Minimizes raw, in process, and finished goods inventory.** **Part II – Job Functions** + **Originates daily production schedule and holds daily production scheduling and critical materials meetings with department heads and material planner/purchaser. Publishes crewing requirements both short and long term. Interfaces with sales service concerning schedules.** + **Acts as liaison to purchasing, making them aware of raw material and WIP inventories.
