Production Planning Location: Rockford, IL Job ID: #70461 8 month contract Pay Range: $40-48 • Liaise with Procurement and Manufacturing Sites to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of receipt of required components • Identify material shortages (produced, procured) and work solutions to minimize disruption to the production schedule • Compile information and make recommendations to improve production rates, processes, materials inventory, materials used, and/or customer information • Coordinate manufacturing production schedules, assess changes and improve processes, as necessary. • Track material availability, and identify potential production problems to ensure that personnel, equipment, and materials are available as needed. • Prepare reports on work in progress. • Coordinate material requirements to ensure a controlled flow of approved materials are timed to meet production requirements. • Coordinate interdepartmental activity with Quality Assurance, Quality Inspection, Manufacturing, Procurement, Engineering, IE Technicians, Inventory Control, Packaging, Shipping, and other shared services groups. • Schedule and expedite the movement of parts by means of move orders and stock transfers. • Coordinate work cell detailed production scheduling activity in support of the Site Master Production Schedule • Serve as site liaison/coordinator between site and Rockford for zero hour returns • Work with site to ensure the production commit/open order file is maintained and updated regularly • Serve as Actuation’s primary point of contact at the local site • Attend local tier meetings to ensure priorities are communicated and provide status updates to site and Rockford Must have Bachelors Degree with 5 years experience US Citizen and US Person candidates permitted Benefits provided: 401K, medical, dental, and vision, sick time as applicable to state law Butler America Aerospace, LLC. is proud to provide an equal opportunity workplace and be an affirmative action employer.
