What You Will Be Doing
As the Production Planning and Control Senior Manager, you will be responsible for supporting operations within a major Program LOB (Line of Business). Areas of oversight include but not are not limited to leading the development and execution of the integrated master schedules and manage the Operating System on the programs product lines across a complex and deeply integrated supply chain. Position included accountability and management of but not limited to Production Planning, Demand Planning, Master Data, Proposal support, Production support and accountable for creating, managing and reporting on the LOB Operational metrics at Missiles and Fire Control Orlando. The job scope includes the management of 2 direct report managers with a total staff of 8-10 employees consisting of salaried exempt in the execution of tasks across the LOB within the Production, Planning and Control function and collaboration with other sites within the Missiles and Fire Control Enterprise and Lockheed Martin Corporation.

MFCPO
Basic Qualifications:
-Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a
related discipline such as Operations
Management, Supply Chain Management, Business Management or Industrial Engineering or similar curriculum
- Must have an existing Secret security clearance with an investigation within 5 years
-5+ years of experience in an ERP Environment,
interfacing daily with operations, and technical
operations, in aerospace and defense manufacturing or complex electronic manufacturing
-Extensive and recent transactional experience and knowledge of SAP ERP / PP Module; possess skills/ knowledge/experience in MRP Make & Buy and WM (Warehouse Management) roles & processes
-Candidate demonstrates a breadth of diverse
leadership experiences and capabilities including: the ability to influence and collaborate with peers, develop and coach others, oversee and guide the work of other colleagues to achieve meaningful outcomes and create business impact.
-Demonstrated leadership experience including
selection, training, performance assessment, work delegation, discipline actions and recognition of employees.
-Strategic thinker with lean manufacturing focus (green belt certified), with demonstrated experience in managing more than one functional area such as material planning control and handling, traffic administration, stores management and distribution.
-Must be willing to work outside of the normal operating hours as required
Desired Skills:
-Lean 6S Black Belt
-Master’s Degree from an accredited college in a
related discipline.
-Knowledge of industry wide best practices and
processes for managing material flow throughout the entire production supply chain.
-Hands-on experience in supply chain transformation strategies, digital transformation, process reengineering, and/or major systems deployments
-Understanding of process engineering and software development lifecycle, including gathering, analyzing, and defining business and functional requirements
-Control Account Manager (CAM) certified.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: Secret with Investigation or CV date within 5 years

These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
