Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Production Project Manager to plan, execute, monitor, and control all production work for the implementation of major Government contracts. The role involves overseeing full piece part manufacturing of complex electronic systems, system integration, functional testing, and delivery to client sites. The ideal candidate will provide ongoing reporting on progress, risk, and program challenges, acting as the single point of contact for all production-related matters for our government customer.
ResponsibilitiesPlan, execute, monitor, and control all production work for major Government contracts.Oversee full piece part manufacturing of complex electronic systems, system integration, functional testing, and delivery to client sites.Provide ongoing reporting on progress, risk, and program challenges.Act as the single point of contact for all production-related matters for the government customer.Prepare, support, and participate in meetings, reviews, and working groups with the Government customer.Develop and manage a detailed production and delivery schedule.Gain in-depth familiarity with the technical aspects of the programs to ensure risks and impacts are fully understood and mitigated.Ensure all production and delivery activities comply with applicable quality standards.Manage and monitor the implementation of subcontracts with key manufacturing partners, ensuring full compliance with all requirements, on-time delivery, forward planning, and problem resolution.Essential Skills10+ years of experience with an ME/MS degree or 15+ years of relevant experience.Demonstrated experience in production and program management.High proficiency in MS Project, MS Excel, MS Word, and MS Access.Proven ability to manage and schedule complex programs.Proven risk management and risk avoidance capabilities.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with production schedules, production management, planning, and scheduling.Knowledge of system hardware and manufacturability.Expertise in project management, acceptance testing, and supplier management.

The pay range for this position is $63.00 - $67.31
