Job Responsibilities:
Responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the production department. Working closely with supervisors to provide guidance in dealing with routine personnel issues and disciplinary problems. Ensuring that the principles of the Magna Employee Charter, the Corporate Constitution, and Magna Operating Principles are practiced, supported, and reinforced.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree with a minimum of three years supervisory experience in a related manufacturing environment or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.Must have knowledge of a variety of computer software applications and knowledge of JIT communication devises and MRP systems.Additional Essential Job Functions:
Provide direction to supervisors and employees to ensure plant efficiency, quality, and safety goals are met per the objectives of the organization.Ensure all documentation is followed up on in a timely fashion.Perform any duties or take responsibility for other duties as instructed or needed to ensure production or operational success.Maintain an excellent relationship with customer's staff to ensure delivery and quality issues are addressed.Awareness, Unity, Empowerment:At Magna, we believe that a diverse workforce is critical to our success.
