**Job Title: Production Specialist** **Job Description** As a Production Specialist, you will be responsible for refurbishing and refilling propane tanks. This role requires a strong attention to detail and the ability to perform manual labor tasks effectively. **Responsibilities** + Operate washer functions by placing tanks on conveyor belts, and sorting them into 'acceptable' and 'needs work' piles. + Remove sleeves and peel labels from tanks. + Transport rusty, dented, or paint-damaged tanks manually to the proper location. + Receive training in shotblasting, weight entry, capping (labeling), and stacking (palletizing) after mastering washer functions and dispatch. + Contribute to stacking completed tanks for departure. + Perform regular quality checks to ensure tanks have no leaks, weight issues, sleeve issues, or paint issues. **Essential Skills** + No previous experience required. + Willingness to lift 35-65lbs repetitively throughout the shift. + Ability to work in various weather conditions. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Comfortable working in a mix of indoor and outdoor conditions. + Ability to help out in every department and willingness to learn new tasks. + Steel-toed boots required. **Why Work Here?** This is a temporary part-time position with the potential to quickly transition to full-time based on reliable attendance and performance. It can be very cold in the winter and very hot in the summer, as it is not climate-controlled. Shifts are Monday/Tuesday or Wednesday/Thursday from 6AM-4:30PM or 6PM-4:30AM. New hires start with 20 hours per week and can earn up to 40 hours with some optional overtime when they go full-time. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract position based out of Walton, Indiana. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $17.50 - $18.50 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
