Job Description

As a Production Specialist, you will play a key role in the manufacturing process by picking, counting, and stacking pots as they come off molding machines. This role requires speed and precision as you assemble towers of pots, rapidly stack products, and secure them for transport to the warehouse. Your ability to work quickly and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment is essential.

ResponsibilitiesPick pots as they are fed off of molding machines.Count pots to assemble 'towers' to the correct height.Rapidly stack products onto a skid for transport to the warehouse.Band and tie pots together with connectors to secure stacks on the skids.Essential SkillsExperience in a manufacturing setting with running machinery.At least 6 months of experience in manufacturing.Ability to work in a very fast-paced environment.Strong attention to detail and accuracy in counting and stacking.Additional Skills & QualificationsGreat references and positive attitude.Eagerness to work in manufacturing.Willingness to adhere to a 30-day plan to meet production standards if lacking extensive experience.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

This role is based in a manufacturing shop environment with distinct areas for production, reprocessing, shipping, maintenance, and the yard. You will work near molding machines, heat-treating and sanitizing machines, and mechanical conveyors, which contribute to a loud and busy atmosphere. The facility experiences significant temperature variations, becoming extremely hot in the summer and cooler in the winter, so dressing in layers is recommended. The shop is well-ventilated but not climate-controlled, and there may be a faint odor of burning or melting plastic when machines are running. During peak seasons, the shop can become disorganized, and employees are expected to maintain cleanliness and safety standards in their work areas.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Chambersburg, Pennsylvania.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $21.00
