**Job Description: Production Specialist** **Company Overview:** We manufacture data servers for a well-known, large distribution company. Our business is stable and long-term. Our facility is clean, mostly temperature-controlled, and metal-free. No metal is allowed on the production floor, and all personnel must pass through metal detectors. Composite shoes are required from Day 1. Position: Production Specialist Shifts Available: + 1st Shift + 2nd Shift + 3rd Shift **Pay Rate: $18 - $20.70/hr** **Role Overview:** The Production Specialist will have multiple roles throughout the facility, including warehouse, assembly, and testing. Candidates must be open to moving between different positions as needed. Responsibilities: **Production Specialist - Materials** : + No forklift operation is required; candidates interested in forklift operation will be disqualified. + Receive products, remove packaging materials, and break down boxes. + Label products and place them in the appropriate bins. + Utilize scanners and computers, specifically Excel (training provided). + Be comfortable moving into different roles throughout the facility and cross-training as needed. **Production Specialist - Mechanical Assembly:** + Work at 9 specific stations along an assembly line. + Use an electric screwdriver (weighs about 5 lbs). + Complete tasks at each station within 90 seconds, following pictures and work instructions. + Rotate stations and learn different parts of the process to qualify for pay increases. **Production Specialist - Rack Assembly:** + Assemble racks using an electric screwdriver. + Use a tool to lift and place servers (each server weighs about 40 lbs). + Label and place cables according to work instructions (training provided). + Be comfortable using tools and working in a loud environment. **Skills:** + General production + Assembly + Hand tools + Power tools + Mechanical assembly + Production line + Machine operation + Manufacturing + Panel wiring **Top Skills:** + General production + Assembly + Hand tools + Power tools + Mechanical assembly + Production line + Machine operation + Manufacturing **Additional Skills & Qualifications** : + Entry-level manufacturing opportunity. + Ability to use hand tools and willingness to be trained in different roles. + Good attitude and ability to communicate in English. + Composite shoes required from Day 1. + Metal-free environment. + Fast-paced environment. + Basic computer skills (able to log in and navigate a computer). **Experience Level:** + Entry Level If you are looking for a stable, long-term opportunity in a clean, temperature-controlled, and metal-free facility, and you have a good attitude and willingness to learn, this is the place for you! **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
