Will work as part of a team having responsibility for the set up and operation of machines to cut and copy keys to meet business expectations. Primary Duties and Responsibilities + (15%) Set up/Operate machines to cut and copy keys. + (15%) Disassemble locks and replace tumblers, springs, and other parts. + (15%) Lock and cylinder preparation, assemble and disassemble locks. + (15%) Master keying function, pinning the key cylinder. + (10%) Package finished products and prepare them for shipment, including labelling of product + (5%) Maintain accurate records of company locks and keys. + (5%) Read sales orders to understand customer requirements for keys and locks. + (5%) Maintain, test and adjust equipment as necessary + (5%) Observe and adhere to safety rules and practices. + (5%) Test completed keys to verify conformance to specifications and examine completed work pieces for defects. + (5%) Participate in weekly cycle counts and physical inventory. + Perform additional duties as assigned. Education and Experience Profile + HS Diploma or GED is required Required Skills + 1-2 years experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment is required. + Excellent hand/eye coordination with the ability to handle small parts. + Prior experience operating a forklift. + Must be able to work in a team environment as well as work independently. Work Environment: + Working conditions are normal for a non-climate controlled warehouse environment. + Frequent walking, standing, bending, twisting, pulling, reaching, and stooping. + Must observe and adhere to all safety rules and practices, including PPE requirements.
