In this role you will establish production plans to meet technical project objectives for short- and long-term goals of the plant; set production lines based on the manufacturing schedule while establishing a safe work environment, driving efficiency, coordinating material supply, achieving production forecast, ensuring quality, and optimizing staffing resources to meet the production plan.  Direct reports for this position will be four Coatings Foremen and 1 Sr. Estimator positions. This position will report to the Coatings Ops Manager.

What You’ll Do:

Translate strategies into tactical plans for the implementation of multiple product lines Establish Production plans to meet technical project objective for short- and long-term goals of the plant Manage manufacturing and/or production operations including cleaning, welding, assembly, and coatings Sets production schedules based on shift schedule, equipment efficiency, materials supply, staffing resources to ensure maximum production quantity and quality Oversee day-to-day operations of the team in a production and repair environment Select, assign, evaluate, mentor and instruct, supervisors and/or direct employees in various manufacturing projects Interpret, administer, and hold team members accountable to follow policies and procedures Making decisions on administrative or operational matters and ensuring Operations’ effective achievement of objectives Ensure the department's overall budgets, schedules, and performance standards are achieved Identify, lead, and support process improvements Responsible for developing, managing, and leading team members Collaborating among value streams and coordinating efforts between production and repair activities

What You’ll Need:

Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) required 3 years of related experience (or equivalent) Scheduling aptitude Coatings aptitude preferred
