Our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Greeley, CO is seeking an outstanding Production Supervisor to join the Cheese team. Making fresh mozzarella day in and day out, your role is vital in bringing our organization to even larger levels of food quality, safety, and production efficiencies.
At Leprino Foods, starting compensation for this role typically ranges between $77,000 and $92,000. This position has an annual target bonus of 10%.
Coordinate the team schedule to improve labor efficiency and ensure production needs are met.
Lead and mentor Cheese team members and foster strong working relationships by implementing programs in technical training, safety, quality, communications, performance recognition and internal employee development.
Creatively strategize solutions to reach targeted production volumes.
Dedicate time and resources to resolve equipment and maintenance related work orders to minimize production downtime.
Embody the mindset that safety is paramount, providing the team with the best training, equipment, and tools to be able to safely perform their jobs in a hazard free zone.
Lead and execute the department’s quality systems to achieve and exceed goals.
Monitor team operations and makes recommendations for labor and manufacturing efficiency, cost savings, and quality improvements.
Monitor the Cheese Department’s financial performance goals to ensure that a quality product is provided at the least possible cost.
You Have At Least (Required Qualifications):
A Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Dairy Science, Chemical Engineering, OR equivalent work experience.
Two (2) years of previous experience as a supervisor, superintendent, or manager in a food, beverage, chemical, or pharmaceutical manufacturing facility.
The ability and willingness to work a night shift schedule and other shift work as needed (the milk never stops coming).

A Master’s in Food or Dairy Science, Food Technology, or Chemical Engineering including four (4) years as a production supervisor in a dairy manufacturing facility (cheese, yogurt, cream, or milk).
