Production Supervisor, Polymers

We are currently seeking an experienced Polymer Production Supervisor to join our organization’s local production operations team. This is an exciting opportunity to join an industry leader. Our production facility is a fast-paced environment and the supervisor is an integral part of the manufacturing process. In this role, you will support the operations leadership team by assuring that the assigned production department is operated in the most profitable and efficient basis through proper utilization of assigned manpower, materials, equipment and space.

Organize resources to meet production schedules and quality standards.Supervise and guide production team members, ensuring safe and efficient operations.Train team members on equipment operation and safety procedures.Maintain staffing levels to achieve departmental goals.Collaborate with corporate teams to uphold procedures in Quality Control, compliance, and operations.Identify and recommend improvements in production methods, tools, and cost control.Monitor production to ensure compliance with quality, safety, and efficiency standards, addressing deviations promptlyComply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.Perform other duties as required.

Qualifications

Must be mechanically inclined and have operation knowledge and experience in chemical or refinery manufacturing. Bachelor’s (B.A.) degree from a four-year College or University, is strongly preferred.  At a minimum, require a High School Diploma or GEDA minimum of 1-year supervisory experience or equivalent combination of education, experience and/or training.You should be proficient and comfortable with computers.Demonstrate proficient oral and written communication skills.Ability to lift up to 55 lbs. independently; and up to 100 lbs. with assistance.  You must be able to stand for extended periods of time.
