Your Role:

The primary responsibility of the Production Supervisor is to supervise a night shift. They will organize and monitor workflows to meet the required demands of the organization and ensure the highest safety and quality standards are being met. The Production Supervisor will be required to interface with the other departments to develop and execute a monthly production schedule.  Production Supervisor will approve bi-weekly time sheets and ensure training is completed. Specific Responsibilities Include:

 

Execute the daily production schedule in accordance with safety, quality, and customer service goals and objectivesPlan, prioritize, assign, supervise, review, and participate in the work of staff responsible for ProductionProficient on meeting expectations of internal and external customers, while guiding the team to understand the importance of productionWillingness to help your team realize the opportunities to be gathered from working with people from diverse backgrounds and cultures in a global contextValue the team’s ideas and points of view in the pursuit of innovation throughout all processesDisposition to help your team achieve challenging goals to constantly increase overall performance, not least through clear, result-oriented feedbackResponsibility for the improvement of all products, services, processes and working routines within your realmMake recommendations for changes and improvements to existing standards, policies, and procedures; participate in the implementation of approved policies and procedures; monitor work activities to ensure compliance with established policies and proceduresMonitor and control supplies and equipmentEncouragement and support for the personal development and decision-making by the staff under the supervisorOutstanding communication skills and exceptional attention to detail to ensure policies and procedures are followed and improved

 

Night shift 5:30pm-5:30am 12 hour shift- 2, 2, 3

 

Physical Attribute:

Wear appropriate (PPE) while working around mechanical parts and hazardous material (hard hats, glasses / goggles, chemical resistant suites, gloves, safety shoes, respirator)

 

 Who You Are:

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor Degree in Chemistry, Biology, or other life sciences disciplines    

 

Preferred Qualifications:

2+ years of supervisory experience with cGMP experienceKnowledge of cGMP's, the ISO-quality system and department SOP'sProficient significant figures in mathematical calculationUnderstanding mechanical aptitude of process flow
