We are seeking a Production Supervisor in our Monroe, CT facility where we produce ceramic composite materials and manufacture products from these advanced materials for the semiconductor industry. This role will supervise the day-to-day operation of the Precision Product Group’s precision machining operations, focusing on productivity, performance to schedule, operating within budget guidelines and producing quality work at or above targeted goals.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
Supervise 15-30 direct reports on varying shifts Ensure function is staffed, motivated, engaged and empowered to deliver a high and sustainable level of performance in an ever-changing environment Communicate expectations, goals, and feedback to manufacturing staff Plan, monitor, and evaluate production processes and outcomes Enforce company policies and guidelines on quality, safety, and efficiency Implement new policies and procedures Recruit, hire, train, and coach employees Lead and support machinists to increase performance, quality, and continuous improvement Continuously monitor employee performance, attendance, and performance to goals Meet demand for on time delivery of quality parts at target cost throughout the value stream Perform accident investigations Manage team priorities and maintains proper inventory levels Responsible for all other duties as assignedEducation & Experience
B.S. degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering preferred, combination of experience and/or education will be considered. 3+ years in supervisory/leadership roleSkills

Manufacturing conditions. Ability to work off core hours and/or be on call during off hours to provide support for personnel in production
