Production Supervisor 2nd Shift
Production Supervisor on 2nd shift (2:30PM-11PM) at a pay range of $75,000 and $88,000 per year. This role will lead by example; uphold current and establish new safety standards, monitor and audit safety in the workplace. Communicate with and coach employees on all aspects of teamwork, performance and safe work practices as a top priority. A key aspect of this role is to provide effective leadership, communication and inspiration to achieve ultimate operational objectives. This is a direct hire role. **Responsibilities** + Provide strategic leadership and direction to the entire plant operation, overseeing all aspects of production, quality, safety, maintenance, and personnel management. + Develop and implement production plans, budgets, and strategies to achieve operational targets, including production volumes, cost control, and quality standards. + Lead and mentor a diverse team of production leads, operators, and support staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and safety. + Implement and maintain strict quality control measures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, customer specifications, and industry standards. + Drive process improvements and optimization initiatives to increase operational efficiency, reduce waste, and improve overall plant performance. + Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including procurement, engineering, maintenance, and supply chain, to ensure smooth operations and timely production schedules. + Develop and maintain positive relationships with customers, suppliers, and other stakeholders, and proactively address any production-related issues or concerns. + Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to senior management, providing regular updates on plant performance, risks, and opportunities. **Qualifications** + A minimum of five years' experience in production management/continuous improvement roles. + Must have manufacturing experience, ideally Injection Mold experience or some exposure to plastics + College degree in management, industrial or mechanical engineering technology, or similar. Will consider a combination of college and work experience. + Knowledge production processes (lean, six sigma, DFT) + Strong interpersonal and analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving, and comprehension abilities. + Great organizational and time management abilities. + Proven track record of continuous improvement/cost savings projects. + Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus.
